Honestly, I think your art style is wonderful. It's colorful without being garish, with definite influences of impressionism. Your color scheme gives it a very warm, organic feel - the rose hued sky immediately makes me think "sunrise". It reminds me of the fantastic images of artist Roger Dean. If I had a novel published and they said you were going to do the cover art, I'd be very pleased. I really like your art, which is why you're the first person on DeviantArt I followed.

My only critiques (because I want to encourage you to grow, and better a voice that will be fair but honest) ? Slight inconsistancies in the lighting / shadows of the piece. The rock formation in the center of the picture has the strongest play of shadows and light, giving it exceptional depth. However, the formations in both the foreground (to the right) and in the background (to the left) could benefit from additional darkening of color tone away from the light source to give them a more three-dimensional value.

Also, I see only after extended viewing of the piece a rather non-natural formation in the close foreground, which what impresses me as a bird-like head atop a pillar. It blends in too strongly with the surrounding color elements. I understand not placing it directly against the sky (better composition), but if it were colored in a more contrasting palette it would have a bolder impact. Also, if there was an aspect of the picture that could benefit from further detail, it would be the object closest to the viewer.

On the other hand, those could be entirely artistic elements, so you could easily ignore what I've said and take away this core statement... awesome art!

Not a tremendous artist myself, I feel so unable to critique your work... but I like it so much! I have a bit of help with your "other stuff" under.
Your sweet sky is just perfect to me. I also like very much the contrast between the yellow and green of the hills, and though I see this piece as finished work, I wonder if your style is going to evolve to a higher level of detail, as a first glance suggests. Please make more of these! :-)

* And as the box is telling me I miss 13 words to end this critique I'm gonna add this random lalala. *

Love that fact that you put people in it. It makes the landscape even come more to life. I also like the natural feel of it. It doesn't have any stiffness but feels natural.
