--- something else continuing along the painterly vein of my recent works, i'm hoping it's a trend that sticks. people seem to be enjoying it so far, opinions and critiques are welcome, but be aware that i'm new to doing fully-painted works and also that i know it's rough. it's not really supposed to be a presentation-quality piece.

((I love this. Your style manages to stay very whole even if details are not very evident. But loose styles somehow make the drawing more relaxed and more "flowing"... it's hard to explain. On top of your awesome skills, I also really like Valkyries too.))

Yeah, I've been working on reconciling my painting skills with my draftsmanship. It's a really daunting task, but things are finally coming together I think.

((If you work hard, however daunting the task is doesn't matter, because effort will make it all go away. :) You are doing well with it though. Your art looks great. :)))

I admire it that - in pretty much everything you do - you somehow manage to stay "loose" and don't wind up in refining small, insignificant details before making the groundwork of the whole piece work.
You don't lose track of "the complete picture", it seems. Hence why your works look completely finished and refined in the thumbnails, yet loose and sketchy in full size. I envy you, Mr. LaFleur... ;)

Wow, this is one of my favourite drawings of yours as of today. I love all the small details you added to her armor and her sword looks absolutely amazing! Also, you did a very good job with the pose for this image.
